Last summer more than forty children came through our doors for a week of games, crafts and Bible stories. This year we’re doing it again — and sign-ups open in June.
Space Explorers ran from Monday to Friday, 10:00am to 12:30pm, for children in school years 1 to 6. Each morning began in the hall with songs and a sketch, then split into groups for craft, games in the park and a Bible story.
Thank you to the twenty-odd volunteers from the church family who gave up a week of their holiday, to those who baked, and to the neighbours who lent us gazebos when the weather turned.
How you can help this year
- Volunteer for the week, or for a single morning.
- Bake, lend equipment, or help set up on the Sunday afternoon.
- Pray for the children and families who come.
